The Torrelodones Town Council is going to file an extraordinary appeal for review before the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge to request an extension of the concession and avoid the possible demolition of the Peñascales dam.In addition to the extraordinary appeal for review it has also filed a new request for a mixed concession of water use to the Confederación Hidrografíca del Tajo.
The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge ordered last December 2022 the demolition of the Peñascales reservoir dam.
The City Council is going to submit to the Tagus Hydrographic Confederation a request for a mixed concession for the use of water.
