The canvas becomes the scenario in which the act of painting becomes an event. My start point is an emotion, a feeling or sensation that can be caused by a landscape, music, people, or a person. I love to paint from memory, the sediment left by people, a play or a ballet. I create when everything has happened and the feelings flow. This is the new exhibition space of the artist, divided into different areas. The working studio with a garaje for canvas stockage and a working place to feel free to paint with loads of techniques; another area for documentation and exhibition. A specific architect table for sketches and a luminous glass area to work with natural light in a very aseptic, controlled and clean way. This last zone specifically for details, watercolours or painting over papers “ It’s a dream !!”, she says. [RPP id=1867]

I like to use mixed media, on linen canvas, with matter, resins, sands, marble dust and acrylic on double width stretcher bars. [WRP id=1725] I fall in love with the materials I choose, how they react when I spray water on them. I observe the way they expand on the paper or canvas support. Resins, acrylics, watercolours and transparent gels mixed with "matter" such as marble dust or sand…………….. each react differently. As for the colour palette, it varies according to emotions. Each colour reflects different emotional states, so to be honest with my feelings I really fall in love...
