“INFINITY”, sculptures in plywood and birch

Who called infinity?

The first idea of infinity recorded in Greece may be that of Anaximander (c.610 – c. 546 BC), a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher. He used the word apeiron, which means “unlimited”, “indefinite” and can perhaps be translated as “infinite”.
Unlimited walks around the Los Peñascales reservoir. Enjoying the environment, its nature, its light and reflections.
In the study drawing from memory, I have the need to take it to a three-dimensional world.
Starting from the topography of the terrain, including the fluidity of the act of walking and adding the material that will give us the imprint of nature, “Infinity” emerges.

“Infinity”, a collection of XII sculptures in plywood with birch bases. Each one is unique and different, as each walk is different and unrepeatable.
Infinity is used as a concept that indicates that a sequence or magnitude can continue indefinitely.
